Judge A Man By His Questions Rather Than His Answers

We've all met people who love to hear themselves talk. They'll interject with know-it-all comments before you can even finish. God bless them, some of these people are really smart (and yes, some are just really annoying). I'm more in the camp with Voltaire on this one however. It's the person who speaks less, but asks more questions, that I find to be special, and often smarter than those with the tendancy to show off their knowledge.

Does anyone know it all? No. So why act that way? Everything is relative, and despite our top of the food chain status in this world, we are still dumb monkeys in many ways, with a million blind spots. You'll never get to the bottom of things entirely, but keep asking questions and thinking. Life is richer that way, and it's a fun ride.
